Five Favorites – 10.19.20

Welcome to our new series! On the journal and Instagram Stories, we’ll be regularly highlighting five things that are inspiring us. These might be pieces of home decor, books that are challenging us, sustainable swaps, and more. Each has been thoughtfully chosen and we hope you enjoy! Feel free to DM us on Instagram or shoot us a note with any products you think we should know about.

Food Fix by Dr. Mark Hyman

This is one of the most impactful, eye-opening books I’ve read in a long time! Dr. Mark Hyman explains how our broken food industry is actually the culprit behind many of the world’s problems today. It’s also encouraged me to think more mindfully about where our food comes from and how to make healthier decisions everyday.

Pom Pom Pillow

Add some fun to a bed or sofa with this tasseled pillow from Dear Keaton. At a great price point ($48), it’s an easy neutral addition that is perfect for layering.

The Laundress Home Spray

I starting using products by The Laundress this year in an effort to switch to non-toxic home cleaning supplies. This refreshing home spray is one of my favorites – I love spritzing the house especially after a good deep clean.

Painted Ice Bucket

These ice buckets by Parisian home brand Casa Lopez are each painted by hand and I love them for a small pop of pattern on a bar cart of shelf. I recently discovered the brand and simply adore their decorative tablewares, fabrics, rugs, and more.

Woven Baskets

These cute baskets are from The Citizenry, a brand I really like for their beautiful products and responsible practices. I’m thinking about snagging a pair to hide our dog toys and for storing blankets and pillows.
